How to Find Funding Opportunities at Grants.gov

Grants.gov HOME tab and SEARCH GRANTS tab allow you to review synopses of all available competing funding opportunities for grants, cooperative agreements, and other types of financial assistance available from the hundreds of discretionary grant programs. Once you have found a Grant Opportunity that meets your criteria, go to the APPLICATION PACKAGE tab to download the Grant Application Package (GAP) and the instructions.

You also can sign up to receive email notifications of newly posted opportunities based on the different parameters provided at grants.gov on the MANAGE SUBSCRIPTIONS link at the top right of the webpage.

Program announcements are found at: http://www.grants.gov/web/grants/search-grants.html

Funding opportunities can be found by searching by:

  • Key Words

In addition, UO Research Development Services is available to assist with finding grant opportunities and to work with the departments on technical documents and content assistance.
