Newly Revised GTF Salaries for Grant Budgets

On October 6,  new budget rates for GTF salaries and benefits were announced
and posted to ORSA's website, including the increase in insurance and
projected salary increases for March 2000 and March 2001 under the new GTFF
contract.  GTFs also received a salary increase on 9/16/99 under the old
contract, which was not included in the new rates.  

Beginning fall term 1999, the minimum AY salary at 1.0 FTE for GTF
appointments is as follows:  

GTF I  $16,866
GTF II $19,038
GTF III $20,118 

The March 2000 and 2001 increases will be added to these base rates.  The
revised rates are now available on the Quick Reference Card, and in Budget
Elements and Rates, under Proposal Preparation and Submission on ORSA's
website at http://darkwing.uoregon.edu/~orsp/orsa.html.  Call ORSA with any
