A new "UO Grants Administration Manual" is now available on the web at
ORSA's home page http://darkwing.uoregon.edu/~orsp/orsa.html.  The on-line
interactive Manual was designed to assist faculty and department grant
administrators in preparing and submitting proposals and managing awards.
Various sections cover definitions, university policies, state and federal
rules and regulations, guidelines on proposal preparation and submission,
and policies and procedures for award administration.  Direct links to
relevent documents on other UO, State or Federal web sites are provided
whenever possible.  Some sections are still under construction and will be
posted to the Manual as they become available.  

Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 (free and available on the web) is required to use
the Manual interactively on-line.  The Adobe version allows users to move
with one click on a bookmark heading or table of contents entry between
sections or from page to page.  It also has a find feature to do keyword
searches.  The Manual can also be opened or saved to a hard drive as a Word
document.  If there are any questions or problems encountered in using the
Manual, please call ORSA at 6-5131.
