grant-admin-arch: Grant-Admin-News: Changes in Proposal Processing System (PPS)

To All PIs and DGAs,

ORSA has upgraded its recently released web-based Proposal Processing System
(PPS) found on ORSA's home page at
http://darkwing.uoregon.edu/~orsp/orsa.html.  The upgrade will allow ORSA to
integrate previously-recorded costshare data with the new data in PPS, as
well as simplify your on-line access to the system.

Specifically, all pre-proposals will now be accessed by a single number
assigned by the system, instead of the number-fiscal year combination. You
will also be able to view and print pre-proposal data without having to go
to the costshare screen first.

If you have data currently set up in the system, you will be contacted
directly by 5:00pm on Monday 6/26/00 with the new proposal number. If you
need immediate access, you can search on the PI's last name.
